Thanks for this. The deeper I get into the Dylan the more fascinating he becomes as an artist (as if he wasn’t enough already).

These incredible interviews offer insight as to process and relationships, don’t they? There is historical value too but of course you know that! My appreciation is huge that you share the interviews. Thanks Ray.

Great interview as always, Ray. Looking forward to the SK one. A minor typo I wanted to point out: "Because I’ve seen other people fall into the ladder, and he eats them alive." I'm guessing that Ira said "latter" and not "ladder" although the simile of falling into a ladder is worthy of Mr. D. himself. :-)

Good catch I'm sure you're right. Tho I do kinda like the simile too.

So many morsels here. Love the idea of studio tape running during lunch. Now THAT’S a boot I need to hear! (or not)

Great quote: “There’s only right now with him.”

Loved the part about Bob's erroneous song titles. Learned this years ago listening to Bob Dylan – 1965 Revisited. First track I'll Keep It With Mine. Producer (Tom Wilson?) cues song as Alcatraz to the Ninth Power ... NO! Bob now says the song title is Bank Account Blues. The producer is cracking up. and corrects the song cue. And we're off with I'll Keep It With Mine.

I suppose it’s cliche to say I never much loved those albums. But you made me wanna go back and I look forward to it.
