The quote from this P Williams character..is this not some of the most appalling new age nothingness which characterizes a substantial portion of culture today?

Be as present and open as possible. Yes indeed.

Suspend critical judgement?

Sounds like surrendering one's agency. Sounds like a call for the status quo, for notions of "it's all good" and "objectivity' and "neutrality." Fits right in with the implications of doctrine and orthodoxy. Fascists love this mentality, unsurprisingly. So do bankrupt liberals and so-called centrists, likewise expectedly. Can we not do a whole lot better than this to put it mildly?

Hey Luke, Nurse Ratchet wants to see you at the meds window. It is will all be okay soon. We’ll say nice things about you even if your family won’t.

All y'all critics, pundits, observers, reviewers and historians, your research and work is always appreciated and on point, regardless of whether you were a glimmer in yer daddy's eye when jerry was alive! Having been to both of these tours, however, it wasnt something I would do again. They were just crappy performances. I dont go to live events just hoping for 2 or 3 reasonably rocking moments. I expect miracles when Jerry and Bob, or Tom and Bob share a stage. The only miracle is that Garcia made it through, and Dylan didn't get a nasty fungal rash from leather jeans in 90° heat!

Listening to Desolation Row, about 30 seconds in when Dylan keeps screaming the words he can remember, I frantically searched for my Paul Williams mask. I found something and put it on and heard a mirror crack in the distance.

Those Dylan smiles are more important to me after all of these years, really. I hope he still has a few in reserve when just the grandkids are around.

Man LOOK at that SMILE on his face in that opening shot!!! So good to see him so happy, to know it’s possible! I always loved Dylan and the Dead despite so much that has been thought and said. Thanks for bringing it back to life.

This is a really entertaining read and bonus points for the journalist Jonathan Richman reference!!

More proof why Paul Williams was THE BEST to write about Dylan. I really, really miss him
