Wow. I love the Rolling Thunder stuff, but this is hot too. So good. Much better than the later shows used for the live album. Awesome soundboard. Thanks much.

Will they ever do an official box set for this tour? Why did they skip over it?!?!?!?!

I hope they do one at some point. In lieu of that, there was a bootlegged Tour ‘74 collection floating around on YT for a while, maybe Mr Tambourine had it up...it was called “Dreams of Iron and Steel” and had several amazing choice cuts from the early 2-3 weeks of the tour. Maybe it’s still around somewhere else, but it’s worth pursuing. A great companion piece to Before the Flood with more passionate performances and deeper cuts. Including one gem from the final LA shows - “Mr. Tambourine Man”, performed for Sara with Garth Hudson adding some incredible accordion to it.
